When it came to Catherine & Darb’s special day the first thing they said to us when we met is to ensure their wedding & reception was well organized and their families had a fantastic time (without the stress).

When 2 cultures come together it is very important to us to ensure that each family is comfortable and aware of everything that is happening; which is exactly what the couple wanted as well.   Not only were we planning a Sikh Ceremony we also had to plan a Catholic Ceremony along with the final celebration of the Reception.

Since both families weren’t aware of each’s customs and religious obligations we ensured full site visits and rehearsals were done to ensure everything was flawless.   The couple was very happy with the outcome and how comfortable everyone was feeling.

When the big day arrived, obviously the nerves kicked in and everyone was feeling excited, however the ceremonies both went beautifully.  Everyone knew what they were supposed to do and everything was on time; just as the couple wanted.

When it came to the reception; elegance and fun was the theme.  They wanted a wow factor that would truly impress their family and allow for an evening they wouldn’t forget.  Timing again was very important to the couple since we were having a Catholic Ceremony in Vancouver followed by Reception in Surrey.  Along with the tight schedule there was a full seating chart that we had for the immediate family and an early Cocktail Hour for the family as well.

With careful planning and ensuring all the vendors were fully aware of their obligations we were able to keep everything on track and planned just perfectly.  As the families arrived and settled in the reception was able to start without a hitch. The family and couple were so happy and the the reception went great!
