Gaveena & Partap

Gaveena & Partap

Gaveena & Partap were in a dilemma from the moment they connected with us for their destination wedding in Mexico. They had some complications with a previous vendor they had booked so needed to find someone quick and someone who matched their personalities. How they found us was by friends who had told them to connect with us as we would be able to assist – we are so happy they did. It was truly an amazing experience with a wonderful couple.

The couple had a very clear vision in their mind in terms of what they wanted for their special day. They wanted a beautiful destination wedding in Mexico that truly revolved around culture and family – of course they wanted everyone to have an amazing time as well.  We had to start from scratch as there was nothing planned properly. The guest count was approximately 75 of their dearest family & friends.

The biggest dilemma that we had to overcome was to transfer all of the air/hotel bookings from the previous vendor to the new one. We had to transfer the bookings over to our travel agent and get everything sorted out. We called the hotel right away and advised them of the switch and to ensure we had all the details sorted.  We confirmed that the spaces the couple had reserved were in fact still available and the deposits were sent in to reserve them for the dates.

Next step was to go ahead with confirming the actual events for the week and get everything booked from decor, DJ equipment, catering & liquor for each event.  We had a total of 4 events to plan.

Once we arrived in Mexico for the wedding week we had to ensure that everything we had requested was going to be executed exactly how the couple wanted.  We broke everything down event by event and physically went to each space to ensure there was nothing that was forgotten. The couple and family was ecstatic with everything and the festivities began.

The events began beautifully with the first event – the Maiiyan was a spectacular time that truly kicked off the wedding week. Everyone enjoyed Indian food while celebrating with traditional Indian cultural events and then ending the night off with dancing & fireworks.

The experience the couple had was exactly what they wanted and they were so grateful (as were we) that we were a part of this magical journey with them.
