Helen & Ravi

Helen & Ravi

Helen & Ravi were truly a delight to work with – they had a clear vision in their minds of how they wanted the wedding but were also very relaxed and fun couple to work with.

The families were very involved which was great as we got everyone’s input when planning everything.  When we came on board we did advise them on a few vendor choices that we thought would work best for their wedding week – based on their needs which they did agree too.  Our main concern was that we wanted to ensure the vendors they had on board were going to provide the service level as well as be able to pull off the lavish wedding we were planning.

With the lovely couple from 2 backgrounds, Jewish & Sikh, we wanted to incorporate both customs and intertwine them as well as ensure each family was going to be comfortable at each others ceremonies.  We of course had a full dress rehearsal at the temple as well as with the Rabbi – where we made sure that everyone was fully aware of their parts during the ceremony.

The Sikh Ceremony went off amazing and everyone was actually saying how perfectly the bride and her family performed the Sikh Traditions – with such ease and grace.

The Jewish ceremony was an intimate affair however a beautiful one at that.  It was an amazing backyard wedding which was followed by a a full Family Style Jewish feast – which allowed for everyone to break bread together.

The reception was one of the most fun evenings we have attended – it took a lot of planning and amazing vendors to get everything as the couple and family wanted.   We had a full seating chart for all 500 + guests, amazing performances, speeches, special videos as well as impromptu dances that were happening to entertain all of their family and friends.  It was an amazing evening and no one wanted to go home.

A week which was filled with everything from a full Qawali Night, Family dinners, dances, 2 ceremonies and a lavish reception at one of the most beautiful downtown venues was truly a week we will never forget.
