Juseleen & Shaun

The first phone call we got from the brides mother and bride was actually less than 2 weeks away from the big day.  Their main concern was a few vendors still hadn’t been booked and finalized and that they realized that they would need help with the logistics of the wedding and reception – especially since it was happening at their family home.

We were a bit worried that we didn’t have much time as the wedding was a little over a week away; however after meeting with the family and the amazing couple we were so honored that we were asked to be a part of it.  A lot of the items had been booked we just needed to tweek it a bit and make sure everything was planned out for the busy week ahead.

The ceremony was meant to be late afternoon in the backyard, followed by all guests heading to the front for cocktail hour and then allowing us only 1.5 hours to switch the space into a full reception.    This was going to be a challenge however we knew we had to get it done and made sure we had asked the decor, tent and catering staff to all have their staff on board so that we can make the flip as seamless as possible.

We had a full dress rehearsal with the priest to ensure on the wedding day there was no confusion and to ensure the couple knew exactly how we were going to get everything packed into a tight schedule.

On the day of the wedding everything went off perfectly.  The bride and groom were able to do their first look and have enough time to capture those moments.  The ceremony was a beautiful ceremony truly incorporating nature into the decor and the ceremony so it really went well with the outdoor feel.

Everyone was whisked to the front yard where a beautiful cocktail hour was set with music, drinks and amazing food so that guests could truly enjoy the experience being in the outdoors.  At this time was when we quickly began taking apart the backyard and bringing in the tables and chairs etc. We were able to get it done and it looked magical – just how the couple wanted – simplistic, elegant and true to what they believed.

The dinner was an amazing sit down family style dinner which allowed all guests to enjoy the program, speeches, slideshows while the food was all brought to them.  Amazing experience for everyone.

We won’t forget this lovely couple as they truly placed their trust in us and were so happy we were able to do the ceremony; as we were so thrilled they even thought of us.  Since then they have been kind enough to recommend us to their family and friends which is truly the best form of compliment a client could give us.
